het guys has anybody ran or know of someone running over 525'valve lift w LT4 springs.my cam has 510' on the ex w 1.5 &i want to go back to my 1.6s.this would put at 544' lift.the springs are only rec for up to 525'.if no reply i will check coil bind w 1.6 .if any one cares about outcome hit me back.thnks

 

I wouldn't even chance it. Pick up some comp/crane springs that will take the abuse.

yea i just put the 1.6 on the intake only[500 lift intake] & left the 1.5 on the exh.[510 lift on exh]i checked coil bind at 544" lift-no way!heck even at 525" ill bet those LT-4 springs would ware-out some after some abuse.anybody ever checked theirs?
