just got my LT4 valve covers from mr cromer and do i need to use a sealant with them? they have a rubber gasket already on them. i was a told by a mechanic that i don't need sealant with them but i need another opinion. any help would be appreciated.

I don't know the part number on the covers but be sure to ask about the hardware to secure them that comes seperately.
