LT4??? Questions???

ok i am looking into buying a camaro...i called about a 1995 camaro z28 the guy said it had a new engine(approx. 7000 miles) which had an lt4, which had badges that said it had 436 horse... he also said it could beat his stock zo6

is this guy full of poop?

if so, can anyone tell me the truth about these lt4's cause it looks like stock they come with 330 hp, which dont get me wrong is still alot

Ask to see a dyno sheet. Also, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, the intake on most lt4's are red in color.

He could have put the LT4 heads/intake on. It would definately take a lot of work to get up to that power level he claims though.

LT4 intakes are powdercoated red. But, anyone can powdercoat an LT1 intake.

On the C4, you can remove the oil fill cap and see "LT4" stamped on the cylinder head. Depending on the F-body oil cap location, this may or may not be possible...
