ok i was under the impression the lt4 was a 330 hp engine...

so why do i see conversions that say 425?

i was reading something a while back that tested the lt4 corvette vs the lt1 covette stock for stock lt4 had 330 hp and lt1 had 300 (so i assumed flywheel for both) and the lt1 got like 13.9 or so and the lt4 got 13.1

so whats the deal? are these conversions the exactly the same thing?

Because the conversions have the LT4 HOT CAM , NOT the wimpy stock LT4 cam. Big diffrence between the stock LT4 cam and the LT4 HOT cam.
