I would recommend the LT4's as well.

I would use some of those CM 612 springs and if you decide to use a larger cam later on (GM 847, etc) get some Dbl springs at that time. If you are not going with a larger cam, the CM 612's will last forever.

The cc305 will seem VERY sm,all in the 383 but if that is what you want or have budgeted, so be it.

Isky also has a decent little spring, the 235-D. It's probably pretty similar to the others mentioned.

Phil, long time no hear.

The CM 612's re $80 from Combination Motorsport and that is for springs, retainers and locks. About 130 lbs on the seat and well over 300 lbs open (.600) and a great price. They can handle quite a bit of lift as well.

Hard to beat for the $$$.

go with the comp 986-16's. they work with the 305 grind and if you want to upgrade to a 306 it will work with that one too

I have the Crane 10308's and they work great with my 306 setup...And I'd get the LT4's...huge weight savings...
