If I install long tube headers is it necessary to install an LT4 knock module?

 

In short, no. I didnt at first but noticed the car didnt rev that quick. I added the LT4 KM and it made a big difference. Some cars react to the KM like mine due to picking up false knock and some dont. Its cheap insurance that you're getting every bit of power out of your headers that you can in regards to false knock. The KM is cheap enough so why not throw one in?

 

Thanks thats what I was thinking since they dont cost that much.
