Question lt4 intake vs lt1 intake, worth swapping?!

I have a chance to get a used but great shape lt4 intake. I was wondering if it can be a DIRECT replacement to my LT1 intake and if I will get any improvement in performance over it? I have lightly ported heads already, but wasnt sure if the lt4 will fit since its stock cast ports are for the lt4 heads right? Thanks alot---

Yes you will need LT4 heads to match the LT4 intake.

LT4 intake wont bolt up to LT1 heads. It is a good intake with higher runners then a LT1.

Actually Always, competent, accurate info you can trust, can be had by doing a search of the topic with posts by 'Arnie' and 'Injuneer'. Enjoy the search, it will be worth your while. You can trust me, I don't sell cars for a living.

EDIT: Actually, I am/was not attempting to be sarcastic, just being... frank (and sincere).
To that special someone from Mi., please do the requested search as well. No need to get 'defensive'.

To attentive, quick reacting moderator, no need really.... It's under control.
