Teh 52mm holes compared to the 58mm TB can you say Air flow killer

Takeing the intake to my buddy thurs to get her cleaned up and ported.

15 to 20hp is the norm, if you remove the slope behind the injectors, then it needs to be welded up.

UPDATE!!

Just got off of the phone with my porter/head guy.

The LT4 intake is stock and isnt even port matched to my heads. Theres as much as a 1/4 of a inch of metal to be ground off on each head port!!! This is good news.

He also said something about a trick he does to the injector bosses. Anyone have any idea what hes talking about.

Im going with a full port and polish of my LT4 intake for 225.00.

Now i know theres power to be gained!

Yea me!

Mike port your Holley TB while you're at it, worth another 50 cfm of air flow. http://impalassforum.com/noncgi/ulti...c;f=1;t=006820

Port matching the intake to the TB and heads is gonna make a difference, I wouldn' be surpised to see 15 HP at the wheels.

If you're getting a welded ported/polished job for $225, let me know who's doing it. That's alot cheaper than I've seen.
