i need to pull the intake off my car and replace my windage tray (its not holding my lifter retainers tight) and none of the parts stores have the gaskets on hand. can i make my own gasket? is there a felpro part number? (thats whats in it now i just forget the number) i already have the GM number, but i dont have 1 week to wait i have a homecomming parade i promised i would drive in and i dont want to disapoint.

The windage tray is in the oil pan, not the lifter valley. You're thinking about the lifter spider.

The gaskets are Felpro 1284, IIRC, and any parts store should be able to get them in a day.
