LT4 Hotcam kit and PCMforless tuning...

I got done with the hotcam install about a month or so ago and am looking to get tuned. Yes, dyno tuning is much more effective, but this motor won't be in there that much longer, so I am going to take the cheap route out this time.

How satisfied are you with the tune before and after the install??? Any dyno numbers before and after???

Any help is appreciated...

Thanks

My car was a lot more driveable and idled a ton better after i went with a tune after the Hot Cam. Bryan's tune is a little great, but is pretty rich and could be custom tuned a little more closely by someone with a scan tool and LT1 edit.

I actual ran slightly faster on my street tune than with Bryans tune. no dyno numbers yet.

Go to Bryan at www.pcmforless.com. He is a great guy and about has the hotcam tunning perfected. Before his tunning with the mods in the sig I went 13.55 at 103 on a 2.1 60ft. After his tunning, a lt4 km, and 160stat I went 13.16@107. The car was a night and day difference, much better mpg also!

Thats good to hear!! I have the PCMforless tuning on my car right now and he has been good to me in the past, but I just wanted to see what kind of difference it would make. Seems to be working pretty good!!! I am also sick of filling up my tank with gas every other day.

Thanks for the info!!!

Bryan is a good guy and is very good. He has done several programs for my Impala with the hotcam and my new XE 230/236 Comp cams. If you do have a problem he is good about taking care of the problem quickly. He is a phone call away if you need him and will listen to you and fix the problem. Good luck.
