LT4 hotcam kit, How high RPM?

What RPM is safe to run with the hot cam kit. I have the stock hardened pushrods and new timing chain. Thanks

From what I was told...6000rpm-6200rpms. I have my msd pill in at 6200rpms, but I think I'm gonna drop it to 6000rpms. Hope this helped.

With stock heads I've seen best results shifting at 6150ish at the track. I dont think you really have to much to worry about at that rpm. Infact mine has seen 6500 once by accident!

On my last run using the shift light for the first time I shifted it at 6000. I just had it dynod and mine it was still making power up to around 6200 so I will try shifting it higher next time. I had the rev limiter set at 6500 when I got the programming done, I dont like hitting the limiter

My car peaked at about 6200 rpm's. If you stay around that and don't push it to 6500 you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I ran a stock short block before with the hot cam and I was turning 6200 to 6400 rpms.

Watch the stock timing chain though. If you decide to spray it I wouldn't go that high. I've actually broken a stock chain before.

I have shifted mine from 5800-6500+ and I have the shift lite on at 6000 right now. And according to the logs it is about 6200 by the time i react.

I never saw any more MPH or lower ETs with spinning it up so high so I stopped thinking it would be better on the bottom end not spinning it so high.
