LT4 HotCam Dyno Results

Finished the LT4 HotCam Kit with the typical intake/full exhaust and fully built 4L60E with a Vigilante 3000 stall. Bryan from PCM4less did the tuning and I hopped on a dyno day and put down some okay numbers. I was somewhat disappointed but for the most part saw it as a success.

Opinions? Comments? Questions? Where to go (Heads?)

It doesnt seem that far off for an A4 with a Hotcam. I'd be loving that TQ. What bolt on's do you have?

Those are not bad numbers for an auto car and a LT4 cam setup. If I was you I would be pretty pleased with those kind of numbers from that cam.

I'll agree with others, those numbers seem good to me.

Those are real good #'s for an A4 car, I pulled a 332 RWHP and a 327 RWTQ with a Yank Torque Thruster 2800 stall and was happy, but I want more. I'm leaning toward a stroker or 355 set up, can't decide on which one is better.

Damn good numbers. I got 326/318 with the XE 224/230 on a stock 120k transmission, no aftermarket stall, and 2.73's.

Nothing to be disappointed in with what you're putting down - that tq is just silly

Re: LT4 HotCam Dyno Results

One thing I noticed is that they used the spike to come up with the torque. It looks more like 345 ish ft. lb. to me. They didn't count the spike for hp because it wasn't the highest point, but yet did use it for torque because it was the highest point. Hmmmmmm......

Very good numbers... Get the O2 read with the wideband and see if you can squeeze and tune a few more ponies out of it. Heads with an LT4 HOT cam... there are TOO many good porters. I'm going with Lloyd Elliot. His work is excellent and he lives a half hour away.

Very good numbers. My 94 stock lt1 with a procharger put out that much.

Not bad numbers at all especially for untouched heads. Have LE work on those heads and I am sure you could pick up some more ponies.

Re: LT4 HotCam Dyno Results

Thats not bad with an A4 and a hotcam... I put down only like 9 more RWHP with the same setup..... Now look at what numbers I put down with heads and a rebuild... The hotcam isn't bad at all and as you can see a dynotune and heads got me about 40 rear wheel...So basically I'm sayin... TIME FOR SOME HEADS
