LT4 heads vs LS1 heads

Stock for stock, which heads do you think are better? The LT4 or LS1? LT4 has slightly bigger valves (2.00/1.56 vs 2.00/1.55) and I know they are hollowed and very light and strong, etc...what do you guys think? I kinda like the LT4 overall, just cause it's like the underdog that performs as well as the favorite (LS1).

lsX heads are leaps over any 23deg head. especially an lt4.. the only 23deg head that comes close the the performance capabilities of an lsX head would be the AFR 215RR head. people are making 500+ rwhp with ported LSx heads/stock intake. but you can still make very good and useable power on a LTx platform with the right combo.

As for flow numbers... the LT4's have almost the same capability... as for power, design, etc. LSx all the way. Ask mindgame how the degree of the head can change things.

Since I don't know....how does the degree of the head affect the performance? And what are the LS1 heads?

even like a stage3 lt4 cant flow anything like a good ported ls6 head @ 325+cfm. lsX heads being 15deg heads create higher port velocities. like i said the only head that comes close is the 215 raised runner with ALOT of hand finessing

goto airflowresearch.com and look at the ls1 head compared to the lt1 heads. another thing see how the intake ports are evenly spaced unlike the ltX with the 2 by 2's. when the air starts flowing that design is way better. thats why w/ sheetmetal intakes they try to taper the intake runners away from each other trying to get a bigger gap between the port openings.
