LT4 heads and intake

well I got it at summit, it came with the Edelbrock intake but everything packed along with my heads/cam all says GM on the wrapper.... ? does that mean its an Edelbrock kit or just a edelbrock intake with OEM parts???

Depends - is it the kit with the original (no longer manufactured) GM OEM LT4 intake, or the kit with the Edelbrock LT4? The GM LT4 is little more than a direct copy of the LT1 intake, with a little extra metal at the top of each runner so they can be ported to match the taller LT4 head ports. Not sure why the factory didn't finish the job. So the GM intake needs extensive work to support a well-ported set of LT4 heads.
