I have a 94 LT1 and I know I have to change alot of things in order to do the LT4 extreme timing, does anyone know what exactly do I need? Has anyone done this before? Are there any better timing sets other than the LT4 extreme? Thanx for all the imput!!

 

To use the extreme duty set you need to do the vented opti swap: 95+ camshaft (or aftermarket cam), timing cover, opti, and opti harness. Cheapest thing to do would just the stock set for your car even though they are high because of the special cam gear on the LT1s. Or, if on a really tight budget you can buy just a chain for your year.
