Not that I would be able to afford either anytime soon, but would it be safe to add a supercharger [say ATI or Vortech] to the LT4 conversion kit? Or would the LT4 heads add too much compression?

 

Really the wrong way to go. The LT4 kit is nowhere near as good or as good a deal as most who ask about it have been lead to believe. Do a whole lot more reading before buying anything.

 

I know all about Lloyd Elliot and his amazing work, I was just asking about the LT4/SC combo if it was possible without going to lower compression pistons.

 

If you are dead set on buying aftermarket heads then I would say look at the Trickflows and use a thin gasket with them should get you somewhere near 10:1 in a head that can be further worked. Then get a cam that actually is meant to work with boost.
