Lightbulb LT4 Conversion

Has anyone out their done an LT1 to LT4 conversion. Im thinking about doing it to my 96 SS, and im wondering just how difficult this is to do yourself. Also i found a website that is selling a kit for 2200 including heads, intake, cam, roller rockers, springs, retainers, timing set, and all seals. I think all its missing is computer upgrades.

Thanks,
Greg

You can save money, and get more power by getting a real cam (hotcam=lame IMO), and just port your stock lt1 heads. The ported lt1 heads will out flow the lt4, and you will have a better cam making more power, and best of all, you save money!

They will out flow stock LT-4 heads but not ported LT-4 heads. atljar is right about saving money, you can achieve over 400rwhp with ported LT-1 heads and save money to.
