LT1s representing in the Gumball 3K

Any of you LT1 guys have some money to spare? I think an LT1 camaro in the next Gumball 3000 would bring us some of the respect and publicity that the European-owners got because of Dado (the guy with the famous yellow M3). I know that all different kinds of cars are going to be rallying next year--I heard the COROLLA CLUB is sending some members. I don't think one of our cars would be too out of place. In Mischief 3000, they got plenty of Mustangs, 3000GTs, RX7s, 300ZXs on tape, but no Camaros! So basically I was just wondering if anyone would like to become the immortal hero of the Camaro community.

If not, the day I turn 21 I'm entering. I'll get some, uh, loans or something...

But the thing is, i beleive it costs some where in the $2000 range to enter it, and on top on the be prepared to dish out thousands on tickets and to get bailed out of jail. To keep up wih those guys you are going to be getting pulled over 3-5 times a day and maybee a jail visit or two per day. If any one you have seen "mischeif 3000" by teckadymics you know what i am talking about. THose guys are completely nuts. i would reccomend watching that video before comtimplating entering the rally anymore, you will know what you are up against

yea, i bought mischief 3000, those guys are nuts. one ferrari got clocked at 187 mph, he went to jail. you definitely have to be prepared to serve jail time and plenty of tickets. on the other hand, there IS 1 camaro in the movie. it's a cop car though. there is also a few 3rd gen fbodies. definitely watch the movie before you think about entering the rally though. if i get rich i'll definitely enter it.

10000 to enter, and jsut cause you registar doesnt mean your goign to be able to participate, they select the cars that go. and lots of times cars would just join in the race when it when by their locallity.
i dont think there was any mustangs, RX7s or 300ZX's registered, i know they had a list of all the cars "officially" entered on the gumball site, not sure if its still on there though.

10,000 is the entry fee. There are a TON of mustangs in Mischief 3000. I watch the movie daily, hehe. Also, the Ferrari F50 who went to jail for 187 got bailed out. 3-5 tickets a day is a big exaggeration. One of the most ticketed drivers was the Blue Audi Guy, who got 3 his first 2 days, 4 the next. That's very extreme. Also, that camaro cop car looked like crap what with the white sail panel and all.

mischief 3000? i only have the parts that are on the net, and i can only see one mustang in the movies i have, and its unstickered, meaning it was just along for the ride, so i guess i was unaware, wish i could find the list of cars that were in it though, cause there wasnt that many of them was there? a couple hundred as i recall.
byt the way is that DVD worth the cost? i'd love to find it used or something.

one thing about all the high end car in it, it also means a small army of lawyers to get people out of ****, like that road block that was set up. pretty cool stuff, jsut have to find a couple good sponcers to foot the bill like everyone else.

That guy with the yellow M3 is the worst drift driver ever.. i have seen a video of his.. a guy i work with knows him real well due to the fact that he himself has an m3 and 2 5 series BMW's and i guess the total amount it cost him was 13500 (with some change obviously) i was listning to a conversaion between my buddy and him.. and theres a part taped inside of the m3 where tehres a porsche. a black one that just ripps past em.. i guess when that porsche pasted him the m3 was allready going 130+... crazy to be doing that in public

i think i spotted 2 mustangs that were stickered. as for the roadblocks that were set up, i dont want to spoil, but most of them everyone got away with NOTHING given to them. the cops just felt like holding up traffic for a few hours. it's a very good dvd to pick up, it needs more action but what are ya gonna do?

There were ~180 cars in the rally. If you already own a legit copy of the video, and just want to download it as a BACKUP feel free to download Mischief 3000 parts 1 & 2 from me, Lynchmob927@KaZaA.

Its sounds cool to watch at home but personally anything short of that would take a moron to actually participate. How many members on this board do you think actually have the $ for the entry fee, let alone tickets, insurance hikes, gas, breaking parts, accidents etc. There is your anwswer why noone has participated. Also how many of those guys have those cars as their only and as daily drivers?? Probably close to none.... A good portion of the guys and girls on here only have their Z to take them to work, school, etc.

I dont think you would need to participate in one of these events to get respect from these guys. It happens on the street everyday with board members who have fast cars...

And not to flame you but with the mods in your sig you better get a head start.
