I don't know how you can be confused about that. One has more power then the other. It is also a newer design. Not to confusing there. Take advantage of the search button when you can it will save us a lot of time answering the same exact question every week.

Use the search as suggested. Also, it's really not a tech question, so it should not have been posted to this forum.

"Better" is a subjective term. Both engines have their good and bad traits. Browsing the posts should give you some data. Based on factory ratings, the LS1 has more hp to start with.
