LT1, iron block aluminum heads, what more could you want? Aluminum block aluminum heads, I dont like. Ls1 seems like it would be more prone to shifting and moving around internally, because aluminum is a much softer metal. LT1

I would rather have an LS1, but the cheaper price, modability, insurance rates, exhaust note, and torque make the LT1 the right engine for me

For a car with no bottom end work, yea id dake an LS1 over an LT1...but when it comes time to balance the aftermarket rotating assembly and boring, the aluminum block isn't as durable...

the LS1 block can easily be changed out with a 6.0L iron block if you wanna talk about serious internal modding and racing.

I would take BOTH lt1 and ls1. They both have their pro's and con's. Where is the button to favor both? I hope this doesn't get out of hand.
