LT1 Valve cover options?

I am looking for a direct fit LT1 valve cover? I was wanting to go with the fabbed Canton's untill I read about all of the problems people are having with them? Will LT4 Black composite valve covers fit on LT1 heads? I know the
LT4 covers require studs, screws, new oil cap? Any other options out there?
Thanks,
Steve

Well im not realy shure that these are the black composite valve covers that you are talking about. My dad bought this 94 caprice ex cop car for 800 bucks (motor swap for a 85 z28) The only thing that had been done to the lt1 was the addition of a 200amp alternater and these black valve covers that the guy claimed were off of a corvette.

I noticed that they dont seem to have the opening for the pcv, but they fit just fine on those iron head lt1s. I would think that they would fit fine on a regular lt1 but i dont know for shure. And here is a pic of the car just for fun I hope this helps.

the composite lt4's are nice... I have a set.... they require no grinding for 1.6 rockers, they suppress valvetrain clatter (which can be detected as knock), and imo, they are the best looking valve covers

Try GM Parts Direct, I believe the part numbers are as follows:
LT4 valve cover, LH = 12552321
LT4 valve cover, RH = 12552322
Or maybe one of these guys can get you a set: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#Dal_and_Jason

what about corvette lt1 valve covers? Don't they look different than the standard lt1 cover? I think they are metal though. Someone please enlighten me on this as Im about to get a set out of a 93 vette to swap mine with.

Just to let you know 92, 93, 94, 95 composite valve cover DO require a little grinding to fit roller rockers, the 96's are fine.
