I have a 68 camaro with a 95 LT1. Street tires it runs 13.6 @98 mph. I put slicks on and lost time. To big of slick and not enough TC. I want to upgrade to LT4 heads and intake with a 3500 TC. Any suggestions on where to get my PCM reprogrammed or any other useful info? Thanks.

 

Once you get the TC and heads done, throw in a different cam if doesnt already have one. Off the shelf are great but if you go with a custom grind ordered for you heads that you get you'll pick up some great numbers. Then when thats done contact any of the online mail order tuners. Madz28.com or pcmforless.com both offer good mail order tunes. If your not on a budget a find shop that had a dyno and can tune LT1 and get a dyno tune to really make the thing scream.

 

Unless you are wanting to build an all out setup, i'd just keep the stock LT1 heads and get them ported. Get you a nice heads and cam package from a place like Ai or Lloyd. You won't be disappointed. As for the tune, just get one from madwolf.
