LT1 Tuneup

Wow, what a pain in the butt. First time ever doing a tuneup on an LT1 6 hours and I'm still not done. Getting to those plugs is hard as helll. As of right now I got all 8 plugs replaced and 5 wires replaced. Fuel filter and air filter replaced. I got plenty of nice cuts all over my hands. I bought a new cap and rotor, then realizing how much work that was to do returned it Had to remove my intake, belt, and alternator to get to some of the wires and plugs. Front most plug on the passenger side was by far the most difficult. Last 3 wires to be done tomorrow morning... I just gave up after a while.

End of rant

There has to be an easier way then this. Any tips I should have taken?

Re: LT1 Tuneup

Also while I had it up on the lift I noticed I got a nice screw in my back left tire. I guess add a set of Nitto's to my wish list.
