LT1 Based Engine Tech 1993-1997 LT1/LT4 Engine Related

LT1 swap into 3rd gen. Should I use Mass air or speed density?

LT1 swap into 3rd gen. Should I use Mass air or speed density?

Plan on buying a Speartech harness but don't know which way I should go. Which is best?

I would go with a 94-95 harness with mass air. It will work better as you mod your car. You won't have to have the car tuned for each individual mod you do, like you would with speed density.

I'd do mass air simply because it's a reprogrammable PCM and there would be no need to reburn chips to change something.

Like others mentioned, definetely go with the Mass Air setup.
