I have a 94 Z28, i recently started back driving it after almost 2years. I had a problem getting it started in the beginning so i changed out the distributor out& it fired right up.....but now when i stop or go to slow down it'll shut down sometimes it starts right back up then sometimes it wont but after a while it will.....i didn't change out the plugs & wires i was wondering could that be the problem

Check your fuel pressure while driving and see if that is it. Any check engine light? Is the fuel from two years ago? Could be ignition issue also. Did you check things like your battery and change your fuel filter recently?

 

The fuels all new, i changed the fuel pump & filter since i've started driving it again & the check engine light did recently come on but i also did not put new plugs & wires when i changed the distributor

 

Let us know what code(s) you have and start there. Much easier that guessing.
