A friend of mine has a 95 Z with the LT1 in it. He has been having troubles for some time now. Cant get it to run consistently.

Symptoms.

Spark randomly comes and goes. ( And I do mean randomly) We pulled coil wire off to know when we had spark. Walked away and 2 min later heard the distributor fan kick on and then heard the coil sparking.

Even though we dont have spark we still have injector pulse.

The car was overheated or the water pump failed. I dont remember, but the distributor was replaced twice since then. He said the car would run fine for about a month or so then start this up. And when we do get it to start it dies when we put a load on it.

Any ideas or suggestions at all? We are open to anything about this time.
