LT1 rebuild w/ 383 kit QUESTIONS!! samperformance.com

I've found a 383 stroker kit on ebay for 700ish..the company also offers other kits that are cheaper. Has anyone delt with www. samperformance.combefore? Are the parts any good (spec's right on the money down to a nats AzS)

one kit comes with a cam...is this cam going to be any better than the zz9 i already bought??

Anyone know of a cheaper place to get a quality parts kit?

Will i have to have a stall converter??

My car is just a weekend car / summer only car and will be stored in the winter..i do not want to turn it into a gas guzzler..just something peppy that will kick alil azz at the track.

if you buy that kit on ebay for 700$ you will get 3 things:

ripped off: not quality parts...
costly mistake when you have to replace the parts tht failed
and finally a 400lbs paper weight

kits like those on ebay are a waste!!!!

stay away

can you suggest a place to get a kit...?

would it be a good idea (and cheaper) to just bore it to a 355 and rebuild it with a master rebuild kit w/ no stroker ?

I am getting my heads ported and with the zz9 cam i hope for it to be more peppy..

What do you think?
