Question LT1 Rebuild Kit

Is $450 a good price for a rebuild kit with hyperteutic pistons, found in Summit, or does anybody know of a place where I can get one for less money or around the same price with forged pistons?

Don't get the hypercraptastic pistons!! Just save up a little more and get the forged. You'll be glad you did in the long run.

Why? I could see he plans on FI or Nitrous, but if it's staying N/A no point in throwing $$ at something you won't make use of. Other than trying to sound cool by saying 'yeah, I'm all forged man'.. pointless waste of money - which sounds like it's a concern for his application, btw.

Question Hyperteutic Pistons

I only plan on using the car as a daily driver, and maybe I'll take it to the track once just to see what it will run.
