My buddies 93 z28 was in storage for winter, and it had a misfire issue and he was replacing plugs/wires. It has like 61k miles or so. 2 of the plugs he pulled he said had oil on the tips. He is ready to dismiss the fact of worn valve seals, and the whole motor needs rebuilt. I do not believe that the rings could be worn yet at all, and he said even if it is just the valves seals, because he is pulling off 1 cylinder head, he mine as well do the whole rebuild. I just don't get his thought process? Any thoughts?

 

I get his thought process. Might as well if you ask me and he has the funds.
