How much is the average LT1 rebuild. Id rather throw a rebuilt LT4 in its place, maybe even a LS1 if thats possible. What do you guys think ?

dang, are u goin with a full rotating assembly with that? or are u having some1 do it for you??

 

Thats bored out 20 over, JE pistons , good bearings
arp conneting rod bolts , rings , gaskets , oil pump
timeing chain , and hot cam kit but if you want to stay stock
you can subtrack 450$ Im doing all the labor my self too

 

so uhh, how about the average price for an LT1 rebuild.... or better yet to drop an LT4 in its place

 

Whats wrong with the corvette LT1 short block, its got 4-bolt mains, and its 1700$
