C5 corvette gauge cluster swap into 97+ camaro!! possible??
Hey guys I am thinking about starting a new project which would consist of integrating a 97+ C5 corvette gauge cluster into a 97+ Camaro. I noticed on the Impala/Caprice forums that guys swap Z28 clusters into there Impala or Caprice all the time. So why not a vette cluster into a camaro??
Basically, if it could work, you would get the sweet Corvette gauge cluster, the neat gauge sweep at startup (gauge pegs then goes back down), sweet looking Corvette gauge night lighting, and a 200mph speedo (which alone costs $300 from granatelli).
I think as long as I can get some wire diagrams for both cars I could make a new wire harness that could allow this cluster to work in my camaro.
My question is, does anyone know if this has been done before? does anyone see any possible problems with the gauges working in a Camaro?

I think the real obstacle here is understanding how the pinouts work for each cluster, and then factoring in voltage and signal stuff. I remember seeing a wiring diagram for the 98+ cluster swap somewhere on cardomain... I'll look it up.

I would do this also if it were possible, the C5 gauges look great. Would it fit in the dash without modding much? If I did this, I would want it to look like it fit with everything else in the car. (other than the C5 flag on a TA of course 
)
