Do to popular demand and my own stupidity i renamed my old post, anyone have any other ideas for me.

My car developed a bad miss, it was very sudden, one sec it wasnt there, the next it was. So it became a garage queen for about 2 months.

I currently have the car torn apart for a cam and header install, durring which im going to replace the opti, waterpump, coil, o2s, and inspect the plugs/wires.

The fuel filter was changed about 2000 miles ago also.

Anyone have other ideas what to checkout while im in there? maybe a clogged injector or something? I really want to start it up and have it run correctly, any input is appreciated

 

The best I can do is tell you to install a new opti,plugs and wires.That SHOULD take care of it.If not maybe coil,ign module...a number of other things...

 

Reason i say im "inspecting" the plugs and wires is because i have a set of Accel Extreme 9000s and Bosch Platinum plugs in it with around 2000 miles on them.

 

Mine had a low rpm stumble which turned out being the EGR valve. Dunno why it did it when it wasn't trying to open it up but when it was unplugged everything cleared up. May want to check that.. I'm not exactly sure what your miss is.
Could possibly be a plug wire too. I see your changing all that crap so I'd just check the valve and if everything is ok then
