I recently completed a major overhaul and need advice on installing a mechanical oil pressure gague. What is the best possible location to install the oil line? 1997 z28 LT1 is the car I am working on if that helps. Thanks for the help in advance!

 

I read a thread where a guy posted saying he attached the mechanical gauge by removing a plug hole above/near the oil filter and screwed it in. I hope this helps.

 

Either behind the intake where the stock oil pressure sending unit goes or right above the oil filter.

 

there is a service port/ spot for an oil cooler right above the oil filter thats where i am presently putting mine.
