LT1 Making noises at shift point when floored???
LT1 Making noises at shift point when floored???
I have a 1995 Z28 LT1 Automatic. When i floor it, it will hit 5,000 rpms (right where it normally shifts), then instead of shifting it will make a grinding noise or a noise like the valves are floating, i let off the gas a little and then it will shift. I dont have this problem while driving normally, or even if i get on it a little...just when i floor it.
I posted previously here: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=99183.
I tried the following:
*oil change, oil filter, changed tranny fluid, tranny service, changed the plugs...the only thing i didn't check or change was the valve springs becuase it seems hard and pricey...does it have to be the valve springs, and if so, is it hard to check/replace?
Thanks
