lt1 main caps, help any trash lt1 blocks

I bought a set of eagle splayed mains and I had my others set aside, and some one discarded them, the problem is that the splayed mains are only for the three center mains, so now I have no #1 & #5, which I need, does anyone have a destroyed lt1, or stock mains they took off to do full five splayed mains, or know of where to get new ones, splayed or stock?

its all I have left to start my assembly.

You can't just get a front and rear cap to be "thrown on" you will need to have them matched to the block, which takes some work because the rear has the trust bearing.

Get the two and ya will have to have them line bored and the thrust on the rear aligned.
Hopefully it hasn't been bored allready.

no, I am waiting to do the machine work untill I have two more, because my three center caps need line bored anyway, I know I cant just throw them on and be good to go, but I can't run it with out them.

I might have a set of stock mains... I just did the splayed mains on my new 355 on the 2,3 and 4 mains as well... But I think I have the fronts and rears from my old 383... they should still be good though

where are you located? You pay for shipping and they are yours!

I went and looked... I currently only have the front main cap, the rear has become MIA. If you want the front, shoot me a PM and we will work something out.

www. pro-gram.com not cheap, but you get what you pay for!! rear is $265 and front is $75 i think. both are billet and definately strong. you will have to line bore anyway so make the whole deal strong, not just the middle!

If you can't find a couple caps any time soon, let me know, I'm sure there are some laying around the shop with missing blocks.

Wrong main caps, those are for a two piece rear main, they are talking about an Gen I LT-1 motor which those do look correct for, they have the nice rounded edges that the nodular caps have.
