LT1/LT4 Camshaft Specifications
#16
Re: LT1/LT4 Camshaft Specifications
I will vote for and do # 3,it was just a general feeling I was trying to get,,
The heads are LT1 castings that flow 234 @ 550,not very violent.
What I have now is the LT4 hot cam and am putting down about 375RWHP and getting 23 mpg with my A4-4.11 car.
I want the best of both worlds but will take at the track what good manered streetcar will allow.
I drive 350 miles to-from track every weekend and use my car as a daily driver,so a less violent(not attract attention)set up is what I am aiming for.
It can be a little more than the LT4 lope and a little louder, what I do not want is a peaky noisy race motor that will get me harrassed.
My car has 3020 runs on the motor and is landed at 170,000 Kms,that is why I figure that if I am opening the engine to refresh it,might as well make it worth the work.
Does this help any,,
