will an ls1 ss cold air intake work or even fit on an lt1? the hood i bought has ls1 ss-type ducts, and will not work with an lt1 ram air box, and im guessing an intake is cheaper than another hood. thanks, chris

 

You can do an LS1 intake conversion. There's a big thread about in on LTxTech.com.

 

here are 2 of the many threads on this topic.the complete Ls1 lid assembly will fit under a ws6 hood as for the camaro you will need a hood search "revelationz28" he has a cowl hood that works... stock flat hoods will not house the complete assembly,you will need to modify the core support. it's not bad especially for the difference in performance.
