I heard even Hooker's Y-Pipe won't hook up to their headers properly. Most people go with a custom setup, try to get it done at you nearest shop, and use the old cat.

Re: LT1 long tubes and Y-pipe ???

I'm going to be ordering Pacesetter LT's in the next few months. Is there anyway to run long tubes and lets say a hooker y pipe and still have a cat? or will I have to make a run to my local muffler shop and have a custom y pipe fabricated in order to have a cat?
thanx

I ordered Jet Hot LT's and their 5-piece Y-Pipe. It was about 2 1/2 inches off from lining up perfectly. The Y-pipe is designed so that you can put cats on it from what I was told. I didn't though

>I was understanding that their Y-pipe with cats was for the LS1 application ... is there a difference between the LT1 and LS1 Y-pipes w/cats from any company (i.e. - QTP , TPIS , etc.) ?
