Sorry guys, im sure there are a lot of these going around, but, I have a Z28 with an LT1 for a parts car (complete) that are going into a 68 so i have the engine/tranny/wiring. would the brakes and everything...so would the brakes and everything transfer smoothly into it, and could i use anything of the suspension and rear end in it?

None of the suspension/chassis stuff is going to swap right over. That's not to say some of it could not be modified to work. The rearend you have now would probably be stronger than the late model one.

I believe you might be able to swap over the rear brakes but I'm not sure about anything on the front.

 

so the suspension and chassis stuff wont go over well, but might if modified? that was one of the major grey area. i want to put the disc brakes on it, and i know i will still need a conversion kits to make the swap. on the rearend, it has the locking positrac w/ 2.73's i think. idk the specs on the original rearend that resides in it right now. still the original rearend would be the choice there? and any ideas on good interior shops in TX that would be up to the task of a show-level restoration of an interior?
