The stocker should be more than adequate for a heads/cam car. If you want a little more flow, you could gasket match the intake to the heads.

Re: LT1 intake enough

Just had this discussion on LS1tech... apprantly some people who spend 1500 on a new intake (custom ones) only gained like 5rwhp. Our intake is a great design for our engine and at this point we dont have any aftermarket options aside from Fabbing one up ourselfs or jumping thru some hoops to make an intake work with our block. The really high hp n/a guys could benefit from longer runners on an aftermarket intake, however the intake we have loves FI. Im not an expert so just adding what ive learned this week.

well it just seems like the cam is getting choked up. Im gonna get AFR210's in the near future as well as nitrous and didnt know if upgrading the intake was necessary.

why not just port match it to the heads when you get it if you're worried about it not flowing enough like 97ws6 said
