anybody know?
Re: LT1 Intake on backwards?
You can't just put it on backwards. It will require some modifications for it to work. Archie at V8Archie does it (he does Fiero LT1 conversions) but I'm not sure exactly what he modifies.
Re: LT1 Intake on backwards?
I dont think the throttle body would have enough clearance inbetween the firewall and the intake. You would have to shorten throttle cables most likely if clearance wasnt an issue. vaccuum lines would also need modification. But I'm really just guessing here.
Re: LT1 Intake on backwards?
Thanks Ion, but that article didn't really tell me what I wanted to know, but I guess it did, in a way.
The firewall clearance and cable routing don't concern me. I was just wanting to know if everything was symmetrical to where it would bolt on and the ports would line up correctly. I guess it does since he didn't mention that he had to modify the intake in any way.
Thanks for the help!

No performance advantage at all.

Usually on a "sure enough" racecar.
