LT1 heads that flow???

I have a question that I think a lot of people want to know.

Where can I take my heads to have them ported and flow atleast 275 @ 600 lift on the Intake and flow great from the bottom all the way to the top? Not just up top.

I am looking for someone or company that can do this. Not just say they can but acually can. Has anyone had there head flowed some where else and verified the results.

I hear there are people out there that get these numbers but I have not been able to locate them.

Lloyd Elliott can do that.
My heads ended up flowing 270cfm at .600 and 191cfm at .600 ex
They would have been better but I sent him a set that I had already ported myself. I'm quite happy with how they perform though.

Yeah, there are lots of guys who can get that (peak) from LT1 castings with good low-midrange numbers too. You don't need a big $$ porter for the kind of performance you're looking for.

If you decide you do, then you can e-mail me, as I've dealt with more than a few.

Another vote for Advanced Induction.

412rwhp, 371rwtq heads and cam, stock bottom end with just an "econoport" job. And my heads flow no where near 275cfm @ .600 lift.

lloyd doesnt like to use the forum to sell, so i wont post his price, easiest thing is just to email him and ask him

i would check out the heads at www.cmotorsports.com

They have relatively cheap prices, but Core Required.

U can also get a ported intake for only 150 too.

One question to ask (based on a recent thread) is to ask how long it takes to get them ported. I've narrowed down my search to a specific porter but I'm in no hurry to get them back. It isn't my daily driver.

Advanced Induction seems to have very good LT1 heads, but do they have some 1/4 mile #'s for thier LT1 headed cars?

how about 1/4 mile numbers for thier LT4 and LS1 headed cars? do they have complete flow and velocity numbers and port volume for LT4 and LS1 heads? other LS heads? like Ls6, 6.0L 5.3...etc.
