LT1 head/manifold scam or legit?

I'm not saying it's a scam, but it seems too good to be true so I am avoiding it.
I thought I'd post here, because I know a lot of you fish on Ebay as well.

I found a guy on Ebay selling ported heads for $299.
He was also selling ported manifolds for $199.
He has a relatively new ebay account and a hotmail address.
Apparently, he has or is part of an NHRA racing team.

The flowbench numbers he quoted were
Intake/Exhaust .100" N/A
Intake/Exhaust .200" 98/78
Intake/Exhaust .300" 192/151
Intake/Exhaust .400" 274/199
Intake/Exhaust .500" 326/236
Intake/Exhaust .600" 353/266
Intake/Exhaust .700" 392/318

When I asked a few sources, they all told me it looked very fishy.
They certainly outflow anything on the market (that I have seen)

Thoughts?

Is this it? (seller's 1 feedback from an ID with 0 feedback) I would be very cautious! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LT1-P...spagenameZWD1V

Offer to meet the guy and offer cash, see what happens.

I would be scared to plug that into my car, especially after reading the half-** explanation about the tuning that has been done to it. And wow, you get a whopping 25 bucks for your core. I can sell my core for 3 to 4 times that.

Re: LT1 head/manifold scam or legit?

where did you get the flow numbers? did he send them to you? Because on the description, it says that they "flow up to 30 cfm more air (10-12HP)"

Oh, and by the way, it's a huge scam....the only way they could flow that is if they were flowed at like 54" of water....ask him what test pressure they were flowed at...
