lt1 head bolts sealant?

I was just getting ready to replace the blown head gasket on my 1995 b4c and was wondering what thread sealant would be the best to use on the head bolts?
I did a search and got mixed answers....

^^^^ yep thats what I used to seal up my leaky headstuds. I also read alot of mixed reviews. Arp recomended that for my studs and studs tend to not seal as well as the head bolts. Clean things up real nice and should work great.

Anything non-hardening. Alot of people I know use RTV as a thread sealant but I don't like the characteristics of it once it sets up. It's easy for pieces to come off and float around your block, pump, radiator, etc.

Another vote for Permatex. Had a little (big) snafu when tapping my oil pan for supercharger return lines, used one of their products to try and glue up the hole for a short-term fix. Quality, quality stuff.

Had that issue with the first blower I installed on my car. All my pans are welded now for that reason.
