Re: lt1 gasket set

I pieced my gaskets together using shoebox's parts list and ordered from Jason Cromer. That will save you a good amount of money.

Re: lt1 gasket set

Would original GM gaskets not be sufficient to replace them with??? I was going to do the same thing and just order the GM replacements from jason.

Joe.

Re: lt1 gasket set

I guess I phrased the question wrong What I meant was who has the best price on a good gasket set. I have no interst in "cheap" gaskets Also does anyone know the head gasket thickness of the sealed power kit recommended above?

Jason

Re: lt1 gasket set

I just rebuilt my LT1 and I used the FelPro kit from ORielly's. It comes in two sets upper and lower together are about $200. So far so good, no leaks and I have already used the oil pan gasket twice (clearancing problem with windage tray) and valve covers too (valve adjustment).

Thanks,
Anthony
