sure anything is possible. just depends on how creative the muffler guy is...

a few folks are running dual exhaust under the car... just make sure you are within stock height for clearance sake.

Muffler shops work a lot differently from each other. My friend has a 98 LS1 and it's real hard for Camaro's to get true duals. The guy had to pound the metal underneath his car up to get the mufflers to fit. You'll find different techniques depending on where you go, and some of the techniques may be a little weird!

You can and many do. Depends on your goals and what setup you're going for. True dual setups usually use 2.5" or 3" X/H-pipes with Dynomax bullets which tuck under the car very nicely. You could also go all the way back with a single pipe over the axle and split off into two pipes with two mufflers. As I said depends on what you want to do and creativity does factor in.

IT can fit if the muffler guy is good. I've seen square flowmaster mufflers running on true duals and still have ground clearance. I personally went with race bullet mufflers.

If lowering the car I would run the single pipe setup.
I have an Eibach drag launch kit on mine and ground clearance is not a problem. I don,t have the cool stance and the better handling but going around corners and looking cool are not my goals, beating people in a straight line is.
Stock ground clearnace: go for it true duals rule.
Lowered car: go with a good catback and you won,t have to worry about speed bumps and low spots in the pavement so much.

My stock exhaust had less ground clearance than my true duals do. I have no problems with mine. Its only lowered 1.5in so im not sure what it would do with a 2in drop.
