Question LT1 engine questions..

OEM LT1 1995 Z28 engine have hydraulic roller camshaft. Correct?
Is the camshaft made out of steel instead of cast iron?

I've seen steel camshaft with cast iron distributor gear. [ Crane part# 104227 ] If I were to use that camshaft then I do need to change oil pump driven gear. Correct?

What is OEM injectors flow at? Some told me 16lbs and other told me 24lbs.

You are correct, it's a roller cam, no use of the exact metal content.

1995 injectors are 24# at 43 psi

cast iron "distributor" gear

The stock cam has the same gear, (cast iron). The Crane 104227 has the correct gear already on it (IG) and you don't need to change the oil pump driven gear. Those two parts will be perfectly compatable.

So keep the iron gear on the iron gear.
