Re: LT1 engine file for dyno2000

I might still have one at my office. I'll look tomorrow but iirc, it was kinda hard to get the right numbers out. Been a long time and I don't recall what finally did the trick.

Hopefully I still have them.

I just sent you one. Not quite sure about the cam data. I was not able to get the exact seat to seat data for the valve timing events.

Glad Ricardo stepped up as I don't have any of my old DD2K files anymore. Been too long since I've played with it and a couple formats later .

I wonder how accurate the program is in terms of predicted HP and TQ. Anyone of you has had the opportunity to compare a virtual Dyno 2000 session to a real Dyno session? I´ve been playing with several cams for my engine and all of them show a tremendous loss of low end torque with marginal gains in top end.

i believe that did that on Horsepower TV on Spike TV one time it was only about 5 off from what they had their engine dynoed at.
*im pretty sure they used Desktop Dyno but i might be wrong*

It *can* be accurate, but you have to have really good data in. I even seem to remember reading David Vizard once saying that with good data the results can be good. But like any simulation, garbage in = garbage out.
