Well when I first got my car I did the big no no with it , I pressure washed the hell out of it with a all purpose cleaner. Ever since then when I do my weekly detail on it I just wipe it of spray it with water. I have never had a problem with the opti. I think we should call up " Myth Busters " with the whole opti and water myth

put some dye in your oil to find the leak...wet rags will work for cleaning and like they said dont worry about the opti unless your dripping puddles everywhere

Simple green!

That stuff just cleans like crazy and you don't have to worry about what it does to your skin. Make sure its at least 1:1. I buy it by the large bottle in conentrate form.

In the past, I have always been a firm believer that if it doesn't burn your eyes, nose, and skin, it's just not a good cleaner. I tried Simple Green and love it. It works just as well.

I use a steam cleaner every now and then to get those imposible to reach spots. I just wouldn't recomend spraying in the opti area. And simple green is definatly the way to go!

that stuff works pretty well, we use it at my store to remove oil build up on like the cash register and stuff like that

goof off works pretty well, but its really strong stuff, we got grafitted on our garage door and it took the grafitti off and the paint on the door 20 year old paint.
