LT1 Catback/Muffler

i have spent 3 hours searching **** and im tired, lol....this is what i want....post up some of your sound clips, let me know exactly what u have and how u like it....for those that can give me a lil more help, i am looking for a nice deep tone that you can hear from a couple feet away at idle, and at WOT, it sounds like the world its gonna end...dont get me worng i dont want tickets or people pissed, i just want a nice sounding yet still somewhat loud full exhaust system, whether it be a cat back or just a muffler.
thanks in advance.

You should go with magnaflow, good price, nice tone and high HP gains.

ight, after some more searching, i am interested in the loudmouth...but some have said it sounds horrid w/ a gutted cat.....and more or less just sounds like a cutout.....already got that....so would i be better off just having an open cutout

also, how does the borla sound on LT1s w/ gutted cats?

Dont know bout the gutted cats but Borla sounds awesome though. I just put my Borla on tonight and got home about 20 min ago. We started at 10:30 pm after I got off work and its now 5:30 am. Put on LCAs too. Either way I'm VERY happy with my Borla.

The Loudmouth will sound pretty similar to your cutout, except the exhaust will dump at the rear of the car vs. underneathe.

BORLA is awesome, you have to hear it to believe it. Corsa sounds good and Loudmouth is ok as long as you don't take off the cats, then it's real naspy like an LS1.

Yes the GMMG is the most badass sounding exhaust you can put on an F-Body. Followed by Borla IMO. Problem is they're both really expensive. GMMG being the most expensive on the market.

What about MAC's cat back? It looks like a sweet setup, but I have never heard of anyone running it?!?!

can some of you guys just post up sound clips and then a lil explanation of how your exhaust sounds, its hard to determine by crappy laptop speakers. Again, i am looking for a nice sounding yet still somewhat loud setup, at idle, accel, and WOT......i have a gutted cat and stock manifolds.
